Collection: FERILLI EYEWEAR
Since I was about 16, I've been passionate about the world of eyewear. Attending various international exhibitions, I've had the opportunity to experience so many different worlds. I remember wandering through the various pavilions and exhibition spaces, being fascinated and sometimes enchanted by the variety of shapes, colors, models, and lines that characterize the world of eyewear. From that passion, from those emotions, the idea was born to create my own line of eyewear, something unique, something that goes beyond the concept of a wearable accessory, but that would define the face of those who wear it.
From my love for nature, I came across a fascinating and innovative eco-sustainable material born from the heart of my roots: Sikalindi®.
Material obtained from the dehydration of prickly pear cactus leaves, a very common plant in my area.
This dehydration process, free of pollutants and respectful of the plant's life cycle, creates a unique and refined material where the natural textures of the fiber come to life in a pair of glasses, making them not only a visually striking accessory because they have never before been used to make glasses, but also an object with a sophisticated and surprisingly natural design where the grain, the absolute protagonist, inebriates the observer.
I have no expectations about the project so everything will be a surprise. What I think is important is to work with passion and have fun doing it.
I hope to find new ideas to design new collections with different and innovative materials.
